Success does not tolerate standstill

2023

After installing a PV system on an area of around 2,200 m2 at our Plant 5 in 2020, we continued to expand our use of solar energy in 2023. In November 2023, the 2nd PV system was put into operation on Plant 4. With the measures implemented (as of today), Jehle AG has reduced CO2 emissions by over 50 %.

2022

75th anniversary

2020

Metal meets plastic – the competence areas for metal and plastic processing have merged. Plant 1 received a new resplendent appearance. It is now the site for injection moulding processes for hybrid and two-component applications.

2019

Celebratory inauguration of the Toolmaking and Mould Making Technology Centre. In a pioneering work environment, the new building combines development department, design and tool manufacturing with optimum material, process and information flows.

2017

The business activities of Plüss in Rheinfelden were acquired. The integration allowed us to strengthen our mould making and, thanks to the newly created Technical Centre, this service could be expanded.

2012

When Ulrich Jehle’s sons Michael and Raphael joined the management board they were the third generation to do so.

2011

The award of the ISO/TS 16949 certificate underlined the permanently high production quality.

2007

With the acquisition of Techron AG, the range of products became even wider.

2001

Jehle AG took over a small stamping shop with associated toolmaking and, in doing so, rounded off its available range of services.

1996

Ulrich Jehle risked expansion with the acquisition of an Aargau metalworking factory. Thus, as it celebrated its 50th anniversary, the company had a workforce of about 100 employees.

1994

ISO 9001 certification was gained and then two years later the coveted environmental management system certificate ISO 14001 was awarded.

1992

The largest expansion and conversion stage of the production hall and warehouse to date was completed, with an additional production area of almost 8000 m² and a storage area of 4000 m² spread over three floors.

1984

A new production and storage hall of 2400 m² was completed.

1972

On the occasion of the company’s 25th anniversary, Ulrich Jehle, representing the second generation, joined the company.

1963

The building of the first large factory building was another milestone in the history of the company: Spread over 900 m², the 20 employees now had generous workplaces.

1962

The private company became a public limited company. Months later, Josef Jehle demonstrated his social commitment with his staff welfare foundation which, at the time, was quite out of the ordinary.

1947

Josef Jehle founded a company for the production of punching tools and metal goods in the basement of his family home in Etzgen. The flywheel of a punching press even extended into the family’s private rooms. Starting with just one apprentice, by the end of 1947, Josef Jehle employed nine employees.
